Pine Forest Range, Nevada, USA. I would guess this dates from the 1930s, probably as a CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps) project. Again, the shrub with the little yellow blooms is rabbitbrush, a very common part of the local vegetation and an opportunistic colonizer.
