Big Springs Gardens. Roadside falls and spring on California State Route 49 a couple of miles west of Bassetts Junction. The plaque reads: "Dedicated to the memory of state highway foreman Peter A. "Pete" Lavezzola (1925-1968), a native son who built this fountain in his spare time as a convenience for the public. Downieville Parlor No. 92 N.S.G.W. A.D. June 1971."

California state route outside Loyalton, near its northern end. Looking north. Btw, "Loyalton" got its name because it was settled by Union sympathizers during the Civil War.
