From out of the unnamed canyon below Notch Peak. Confusion Range in the middle distance; the still snow-capped northern Snake Range in Nevada (high point Mt. Moriah), is barely visible on the horizon.

The cliff below Notch Peak itself, on the right, is some 2700' high. I've seen it asserted that it's the tallest cliff in the Great Basin, but I haven't been able to track down the reference.
