The front part (the brick/stone part off to the right; this is the side) was built in the 1860s, and is still in use. It's one of the oldest buildings in Nevada, and the oldest hotel.

On the Comstock silver lode, Nevada, USA. From just below the summit of Mt. Davidson. Comstock silver helped finance the Union during the US Civil War, and directly led to Nevada's statehood in 1864--long before any of the other states in the Mountain West. The whole area is now considered a historic site.
