Or, Water Flowing Toward Money Part II. This canal branches from the All-American Canal, which brings water for irrigation from the Colorado River to the Imperial Valley, to bring water to the Coachella Valley north of the Salton Sea. Looking west from the bridge where Box Canyon road crosses.

Part of the Tropic Ditch, a project to bring irrigation water to the village of Tropic, Utah. It was completed in 1892 by Mormon settlers and used natural watercourses, as here, as much as possible to save labor--no bulldozers back then! This part now lies in Bryce Canyon National Park, but has been grandfathered in and is still in use.
