Berlin had a pneumatic postal system. It operated from 1876 to the 1960/70s. At its peak there were 99 stations and 255 km pneumatic pipes and about 9 million items were transported in a year.

Former post office. The building was built between 1875 and 1881. It ceased to be a post office in 1995.
