The Leipziger Baumwollspinnerei was a cotton mill, founded in 1884. It was the biggest cotton mill of continental Europe at the beginning of the 20th century. It stopped in 1993, now the buildings are used for art galleries, studios and restaurants.

GVB is the public transport company of the city of Amsterdam. This metro train dates from 1976-1977, so it is close to 40 years old. This old series is gradually phased out when new metro trains become available.
