The Bos van Bosman (Bosman's Forest) is the remaining part of the park of the Nieuweroord estate, named after Aleidus Gerardus Bosman who built the estate in 1917.

Nieuweroord was a large house with a garden, built in 1917 by Aleidus Gerardus Bosman, a rich industrialist. After his death in 1958 the area was partially developed, his house was demolished in 1966, to be replaced for an apartment building for students. That building was demolished too, now these apartments have been built.
