A constable was originally the head of the stables. Later in the Middle Ages it became head of the royal household. In Henry V the Constable of France plays an important role. In the 19th century it became also a police officer. Leslie Barns is the new Streetcar Maintenance & Storage Facility of the TTC. There was a Doors Open day on May 28, 2016.
