The aerogramme is slowly disappearing. Made to resemble a telegram, it is a single sheet of paper with gummed flaps, so it can be folded and closed. No enclosures are allowed and the rate is usually below the letter rate. Hong Kong’s aerogrammes are very cheap, only HK$ 2.30, which is about € 0.28 or US$ 0.31.
