Also known as the Dutch Concerts station. Hans Idzerda set up the station and it began broadcasting from The Hague in 1919. It is believed to have been Europe’s first sustained broadcasting station and one of the first stations in the world to transmit entertainment. It ended broadcasting in 1924.
