May 4 is Remembrance Day in the Netherlands. The victims of the Second World War are commemorated. This is the ceremony at the Eerebegraafplaats Bloemendaal (Honorary Cemetery at Bloemendaal), which is the final resting place of 347 victims, who were shot by the Germans.

In this house, headquarters of the Resistance and in the forest of Boscodon the partisans and resistant patriots lived here in 1943 and 1944:
Albert Allard, Jean Arenas, David Fallik, Georges Faure, Aime Imbert, Emile Lagier, Louis Liotard, Martial Nicolas, Simon Ricchiardi, Henri Vallon.
Arrested by the Gestapo, tortured deported disappeared shot killed in combat in 1944 and 1945. All died for France.
