The organ was built by Albertus Antoni Hinsz in 1741–1743, although he used parts of the earlier organ.

This organ was played by Johann Sebastian Bach on its inaugural concert and Wilhelm Friedemann Bach was organist from 1746 to 1764. No organ could wish for a better start. Marktkirche Unser Lieben Frauen. The church dates from 1554.
