The 1200-series was built in the 1950s, from an American design; 25 were built, and quite a few survive. This one belongs to the Railway Museum in Utrecht. Two steam locomotives and two old electric ones made their appearance and drove all days between Haarlem and the sea-side town Zandvoort. There were some other old and new trains too.
