Storage and Stone-masonry of J.A.J. Steyger. The letters are just visible above the gate door. Some research in the local archive produced the following: J.A.J. Steyger married Gerarda Cornelia Reek on June 15, 1836. After Gerarda died, Steyger married Jeanne Arntz on November 6, 1850. He made the stonework for this statue of Boerhaave in 1871: www.flickr.com/photos/govert1970/6008791019 He died on September 24, 1878, survived by his wife.
