This church in Katwijk dates from around 1460. Named after Andrew the Apostle, patron saint of fishermen. The church is located on the coast. Between 1890 and 1924 it was a shed for a shipping company. The tower used to be higher, but it was damaged in 1836 during a storm. Also in the Second World War the tower was reduced in height by order of the Germans. Between 2009 and 2014 the church was restored, mainly to remove the salt from the structure. Picture from 2012:

The Oude Kerk was built from 1246, the tower dates from 1325–1350. It is askew, but it hasn't reached the popularity of the tower of Pisa.
