On Saturday August 30, 2008 celebrations were held at the station. Two steam locomotives and two old electric ones made their appearance and drove all days between Haarlem and the sea-side town Zandvoort. There were some other old and new trains too.

This week I drove to work, from Bloemendaal to Leiden, that is about an hour's drive.
