When you bought a cassette tape, included where these labels to put on the cassette. Today I found these labels on the street.

The GDR authorities confiscated all cassette tapes that were sent from the West to the GDR. The cassette tapes subsequently were used by the Stasi to record conversations. The Zeitgeschichtliches Forum Leipzig is part of the Haus der Geschichte, or History House. The Haus der Geschichte is located in Bonn, Berlin and in Leipzig. It is a museum and a collection of the history of Germany.
