In recent years all the French villages have made speed bumps.

So everybody has to slow down to walking speed.

A lot of them about and very nasty.

When the first speed bumps arrived in the Netherlands, they looked like the ones on the sign. Over the years, speed bumps took on different guises and the signs changed too. This sign is rare nowadays.
