Now closed and slowly disappearing. Although I've always heard that the line should more or less stay in case of war.

The sign misses its F-sign (and probably a speed restriction sign). The two together means: blow your whistle if you see somebody approaching the railway crossing. Now closed and slowly disappearing. The F-sign means: blow your whistle (from the Dutch word "fluit"). If you're not driving a steam train, blow your horn. The 1-sign underneath means: maximum speed 10 km/h. Now closed and slowly disappearing. Although I've always heard that the line should more or less stay in case of war.
