Vooruit was a bakery and a co-operative association for the workers. It was in existence until the 1960s. You can see the lettering in the two narrow windows.

From 1894-1931 it was the bread factory Ceres from 1931-1966 it was the worker's co-operative bakery De Vooruit (The Forward).
