There was a major outage of the signal system in Utrecht, which meant great disruption to the Dutch railway system. At such times everybody becomes a railway specialist, especially the politicians.

Corn in the British sense of the word, ie wheat. The bridge dates from the Middle Ages. The wooden construction on top of the bridge is from 1825. That wooden construction is badly damaged.
