Interview with the local politician Jan de Ridder from Noordwijk. In his youth his house was very cold in winter. One winter his pyjama top froze on the wall. He had to get out of his top as not to damage it.

Villa Bianca was built around 1900 by order of the German Haufe family, so this villa was also known as the Villa Haufe. A fire in 2010 put an end to this building.

After a restauration the estate is called Dyckenburch (the old spelling is probably to make it more "authentic"). Unclear is why "heerlijckheit" (also old spelling, translated "estate") is also painted on the house. The lettering is tacky.
