Thanks to my friend Maggie, Colleen finally got her body switched from her less posable Licca body to this more dynamic PureNeemo one! I will have a lot of fun posing this girl!

Spring has fianally arrive to my neck of the woods with sunny skies and 60 F temperatures. Pookie and Colleen had to be outside in their spring clothes (Pookie likes to go gnome hunting!) :)

She doesn't know quite what to make of all this cold stuff, but she wishes she wore gloves!

There is a little story behind this. Almost 20 years ago, my daughter starred as Scout Finch in our local community theater's version of "To Kill a Mockingbird". It was her zenith as an actress; she WAS Scout. I couldn't have been a prouder mom. Yet she had no desire to pursue acting, instead concentrating on her goal to become a music teacher (which she achieved). And I still couldn't be a prouder mom of my daughter's accomplishments in her life! I say this with great humility as she is a gift from God and He blessed her with great talent that she uses for others with much joy! After Pookie was lovingly customized by Christine (fortydollywinks), she looked so much a deadringer for the character that I was tempted to rename her Scout even though she could be nothing other than a Pookie to me! However I felt compelled to go on the hunt to best replicate Scout's outfit from the movie version of the character, because I was dying to see her dressed like that. Finally, when I found the Skipper shirt, all the pieces came together, and voila! So, this picture is dedicated both to my daughter, Larissa, and to Christine for giving Pookie a face to die for xxx

We have had very warm Summer temperatures during the past week for this time of year. If Tanna, Pookie and Madge could talk, this is what they would say: Tanna: Hey girls, I wish our neighbor's pool was still open...guess I'll have to sunbathe instead. Madge (green dress): What is this?! We get snow on the first day of Spring, and a lot of hot sunny days this Autumn, what gives?!! Pookie: Anyone want to play?

Thought I would try to get a little creative and photoshop a little texture in to the picture. Still not sure what I'm doing, lol!

Pookie found a teddybear and won't put it down, but it's Rowan who takes center stage today with her "Betty Davis" eyes! Have a beautiful day!

The Skipper doll on the right is my original from childhood. The Skipper on the left was the doll that I really wanted as a kid, but by the time I had enough money to buy one, they discontinued her model and I got stuck with the sausage curled one :-( That being said, she was still beautiful and proved to be my favorite childhood doll!

My cat just can't seem to stay away when I go on a photograph spree, lol!.
