Penny Richards' photos with the keyword: pendants

I made these at a friend's house (hi Lori B!), using her clay and glazes and my own collection of rubber stamps. (She did all the firing in her kiln.) Stamps are mostly from Third Coast Art Rubber. There are a lot of others in the batch, waiting for hardware and cords and whatnot, but these are the ones I've been wearing so far.

This is about half of the unglazed, unfired pottery pendants we're making as thank you gifts for the women who teach Hands on Art at Lincoln. They're made by pressing a rubber stamp (lower left corner) into clay... next they'll be glazed and fired (not by me) and strung onto silk cords (again, not by me), then I'll make the tags for them. I'll be back to show the finished product!

The pendants were glazed in four different colors--espresso, seafoam, peacock, and green.
