Crocheted for myself from squares leftover from a baby blanket project. It's big, but it's comfortable.

The paisley shapes started out as the nuclei of some squares for a collaborative afghan, but they wouldn't stay in the margins (just like a paisley!), and they kept growing until they looked ready to be a bag. All thrifted yarns, all acrylic worsted, except some metallic accents, and some beads, and some buttons.... lined with most of an old black jersey t-shirt. I know it looks wonky, but I like it anyway.

All half-double crochet, with two colors in each stitch in body. Lined with maroon rayon from an old blouse. The button is vintage, from my great-aunt's box of buttons.
Tangerine Heart Wool Bag 1

Made from recycled wool (felted sweaters), stash yarn, and random beads and buttons. The tangerine triangle is felted cashmere and very soft. Most of the beads are glass and polymer clay; I think the buttons are all plastic and some are vintage. Long strap means it's perfect for cross-body carry.
