Portrait of a Mustang (7) - 30 November 2013

Palm Springs at a weekend is a playground for the wealthy and the wingtip to wingtip parking of bizjets makes photography impractical. The best viewpoints are from the north side of the airport and that, of course, means looking into sun. All of that could be turned to my advantage as I focused on this beautiful (but unidentified) P-51 Mustang. I took most of my pictures intentionally into sun with a 'sunset' setting on the camera to achieve, I think, some nice results. Additional processing on this image uses high saturation for a more artistic effect. P1190611XC
