When I first consulted the cruise ship schedule for Southampton, I was understandably puzzled to see the operator of MV Explorer listed as 'SAS'. This stands, in fact, for 'Semester at Sea', a study abroad programme sponsored by University of Virginia. Information online is a little incoherent as Explorer arrived from Hamburg but was, according to one entry at least, supposed to be at Dover. It was due to depart for Morocco (Casablanca, I believe) on 17 June 2013. Beyond Explorer, at berth #102 is UECC Ro-Ro vessel Arabian Breeze which later departed for Zeebrugge. In the distance at #106 is P&O Arcadia which was due to depart for Stavanger. DSCF2536
