A Farewell To Otago (3) - 1 March 2015

Harington Point Lighthouse
The New Zealand part of our cruise ended with departure from Port Chalmers for Melbourne. There could have been no better reminder of the beauty of the country than the coastal scenery as we made our way out to open sea.

An Otago Dawn (5) - 1 March 2015
16 Aug 2015 |
|
Many cruise port calls start at early in the day and the effort of going on deck perhaps even before breakfast is frequently rewarded by beautiful sights in light only the dawn can bring. The approach to Port Chalmers in New Zealand's South Island provided such sights and I have tried to do them some justice in a few pictures.
