I first photographed railway remains in the Brentford area on 31 December 2014 [qv]. My subsequent research revealed them to be part of the former GWR Brentford branch constructed from Southall towards Brentford Dock (a station not completed) via Brentford Town (later Brentford sharing the name with the Southern Railway station). This view across the Grand Union Canal shows the other end of the short viaduct section shown in my 2014 pictures. 200_4_P1000424E
