I am not a fan of Barbara Hepworth but her contribution to and significance in the art world is indisputable. A visit to the Museum and Sculpture Garden in St Ives is worthwhile and can be combined with a visit to Tate St Ives which manages the property. The garden is attractive and, even though rain was setting in when I took my pictures, my recently acquired TZ70 made the most of the available light. In this intentional composition, the very beautiful tree makes it own statement about form in nature when juxtaposed with the large piece Two Forms (Divided Circle) , a 1969 bronze. TZ70_P1000026R
