You'd go a long way to see three shunters together these days. In this line up from 35 years ago, 08735 stands with 08344 and 08449. Taken in the days when depots were many, usually had locomotives and when a courteous request to look round was usually met with a courteous and affirmative reply. Ayr Depot is a little to the south of Newton-on-Ayr station.
