During a very late and unplanned visit to Solent Airport to try to get an apron shot, I saw the departure of one of the stalwart Coastguard AW189s, G-MCGO. With the light already very low on a December afternoon, I felt I had nothing to lose by taking a shot and managed to get the rotor blur which can sometimes be elusive in daytime shots (if you don't plan your settings).
