Now facing the other way compared to my earlier picture, the Castries tug 'Chale' was preparing to accompany the arrival at the St. Lucia capital of Norwegian Gem. 200_3_P1100209E

The Viking Sea had made a very slow approach to her berth at Castries, St. Lucia but it was still early. One of the first sights to greet me was the tug 'Chale' which I photographed in almost exactly the same spot and almost exactly five years ago . The tug was instantly memorable and one of the comforts on what tends to be an intense itinerary in the Caribbean (an island a day) is to revisit some locations and thus be slightly more relaxed than in somewhere completely new. 200_3_P1100205
