It is only 11 years since the first arrival at Heathrow of a Singapore Airlines A380 marked a new future now curtailed by the announcement of the end of production of the type. It was the same airline which withdrew from service its first A380 (9V-SKA) only ten years after delivery. A later aircraft is seen here with a Thai Airways example at Heathrow's Terminal 2.
