Neue Mainzer Straße 24, Frankfurt. This truly is a record shot. My eye was originally caught by the red surround to the restaurant door but, as it turns out, it offers Thai cuisine, not Chinese, so the picture was no longer destined for CRWDP. My research in finding out this and more about the building revealed that the basic businesses, a casino, a restaurant and Hotel Willy have been in place for some while. The signs for each have changed over the last decade or so and, I think, more than once. Merkur has used different descriptions and altered the fascia accordingly. The restaurant, now Grandma's Kitchen, was Kontiki, a word retained on the signs. 200_3_P1090246CE
