GWR 5101 Class (Large Prairie) was a class of 140 2-6-2T locomotives of which ten survived scrapping and only five have run in preservation. 4110, seen at Churston, Dartmouth Steam Railway is awaiting restoration and was previously with the West Somerset Railway . This was a challenging picture to take with the locomotive tucked away under the A379 and light streaming in from only one side of the flyover. 200_3_P1090716R

More than 50 Class 03 0-6-0 shunters survive in preservation. D2192, named with, I think, not a little irony, 'Titan' is seen at Churston, Dartmouth Steam Railway and is reportedly used between Churston and Kingswear. 200_3_P1090712CE
