A long stay in Fort Lauderdale and a suitably positioned hotel room allowed me to resume my occasional series 'When Worlds Collide' which shows the often close interaction of cruise ships with their surroundings. Ships leaving Port Everglades pass near to the apartment blocks of Harbour Isles of Fort Lauderdale. Celebrity Summit was under way to nearby Nassau and would return to Fort Lauderdale on 10 March. 200_3_P1040957R
