Shoal Tower (1847) is a Martello Tower in Kingston Ontario. Sixteen were built in Canada and eleven survive including all four of those built in Kingston. In this evening view of Shoal Tower, similar structures at Fort Frederick and Fort Henry can also be seen. Shoal Tower itself is unique in being the only such tower surrounded entirely by water. 200_3_P1030660R
