The long awaited and, it has to be said, impressive play area at the Western Gateway of the Alver Valley Country Park opened for the weekend of 4 & 5 November 2017 ahead of an official opening. On a technical note, I took pictures with two cameras and, whilst the morning light was very beautiful, the early shoot nearly backfired on me as the shadows were still long. I love my FZ200, my mainstay camera, but for this I have selected an image from my Fuji X20 which produces lovely colour. X20_DSCF3019R
