My Sunday morning trips are intended to get the photographs which cannot easily be shot on busy weekdays but often produce completely unexpected results too. On one such trip I came across this Trabant 601S in Francis Avenue, Portsmouth. I don't think the Trabant could ever be described as beautiful but it certainly did have character, a sort of defiant independence in the fractured world into which it was born. 200_3_P1020951R
