John Oram's photos with the keyword: Upper Quay

I have waited patiently, and sometimes not so patiently, to take this photograph and to add by one to my collection of buildings around Fareham and further afield. Throughout working hours there are cars parked in front of this building and for much of the day, the sun is behind it. Riverside House on Upper Quay in Fareham is now the office of Lafarge Tarmac (Lafarge Aggregates). 200_2_P1000896C

It has taken me a long time to get round to taking this photograph to record detail changes to Riverside House, Fareham since my earlier picture of 11 October 2014. My main focus was the revised Tarmac sign reflecting the 2015 sale of the business by Lafarge to Ireland's CRH. I also note the disappearance of the machinery seen to the left in the original photograph and changes to the vehicle and pedestrian signage on both sides of the picture. 200_2_P1150454R
