'Scream' (1998) by Menashe Kadishman. Cor-ten steel. Tel Aviv Museum of Art. In this outwardly simple piece in the museum's sculpture garden, Kadishman has captured, presumably as an intentional homage, the elements of Munch's 'The Scream'. This is one of my favourite pieces. 200_P1020943

46 Frishman (left) is a dramatic residential development in Tel Aviv. I think is has followed New York in address-consciousness as the main pedestrian entrance is on the lesser Esther Hamalka. My eye was caught by this dove sculpture which is a piece by prominent Israeli sculptor Menashe Kadishman and my processing has given the whole scene a rather pleasing near-HDR effect which normally I might eschew. Viewed from Sderot Rothschild, the Charles Bronfman Auditorium dominates Habima (also Hatarbut) Square in Tel Aviv and is, in turn, dominated by Menashe Kadishman's 'Hitromemut' (1967-1974) in Corten steel. 200_P1020819
