Scorrier station was opened as Scorrier Gate on 25 August 1852 by the West Cornwall Railway. It closed to passengers on 5 October 1964. The remains are on the Cornish Main Line between Redruth and Truro and can be seen from the public side of a Network Rail access gate. 200_2_P1150171
