Carnglaze Caverns is one of the less well known but, nonetheless, excellent attractions of Cornwall. Near the village of St Neot and a short drive off the A38 between Bodmin and Liskeard, it is a great place to visit.
The interior is impressive and absorbing. Flash photography is not allowed partly because of a resident bat population but there are several flat topped posts from which long exposures can be taken whilst resting the camera.
For this closing shot of the series the camera was on its back for a look at the ceiling of the chamber.

Given that a typical person is a little taller than the guardrail, one can gain an impression of the size of the chamber.

This striking image was chosen to start my series from the location as it gets somewhat darker further inside. The helmets line the wall on the approach to the Rum Store and many are marked by often well known visitors. Part of the complex is a substantial and unusual concert venue.
