First in Truro (3) - 19 November 2016

On a visit to First Kernow's Newham depot in Truro, I inadvertently courted and, I think, narrowly avoided a photographic disaster. In a fundamental and stupid error, I left the previous night's settings on my camera and shot at 1600 ISO. There is some resultant grain in the pictures but the buses' appearance is, in part, due to the recent weather and road conditions. My photographs were taken with permission and this short series brings you a remarkable variety of liveries from a small depot. Plaxton Cheetah bodied Mercedes-Benz Vario O814 56000/W146RCU is in Truronian colours. 200_2_P1140499

TransBus Pointer Dart 42860/TT03TRU in a special livery is seen with Plaxton Cheetah bodied Mercedes-Benz Vario O814 56000/W146RCU in Truronian colours. The GWR chocolate and cream on the Dart, together with commemorative titles, mark the 110th anniversary, in 2013, of the first Great Western Road Motors service (Helston-Lizard). 200_2_P1140496C
