In my opinion, the development by Vivarail of the D-train, now designated Class 230, is one of the most exciting events in the current UK rail world. The units are converted from withdrawn London Underground D78 stock and numerous candidate vehicles are currently at the Quinton Rail Technology Centre, Long Marston. 200_2_P1130432
