Zany Zebras was a large scale public art event organised by Marwell Zoo and held in and around Southampton from 16 July to 25 September 2016. The 47 full size zebras from the event were auctioned on 18 October 2016 at the Hilton at the Ageas Bowl and subsequently made their way to new homes. At least three arrived in Lee on Solent making it fairly easy for me to start my inevitable 'After Zany Zebras' series. Having survived Halloween, Henman by Rachel Blackwell had discarded its sheet (see earlier pictures) by the following morning to emerge into a slightly gloomy autumn day. 200_2_P1140445C2

The first to feature in the series in an unexpected and temporary pose is Henman by Rachel Blackwell. Whilst the neighbours had (perhaps wisely) moved their two zebras - soon to feature in the series - for Halloween, this household had simply dressed Henman for the occasion. TZ30_P1040115
