Finally closed on 31 May 2014 after a long, slow death, Folkestone Harbour station has been allowed to decay into an appalling state. Some work seems to be going on at the signal box (out of shot, right) and beyond the station on the so-called Folkestone Harbour Arm. A monument featured in other photographs on the internet has been surrounded by plastic sheeting and can be seen seen centre left. TZ30_P1030922
