John Oram's photos with the keyword: Oriental Buffet

These retail premises in Fareham's West Street have been unoccupied for 3½ years. I photographed the shop in October 2012, one day after JJB Sports went into administration. It is one of the scandals of our urban landscape that commercial property can stand unused for so long. In May 2016, work commenced to convert the shop into, of all things, a Chinese restaurant (Oriental Buffet). In less than a week from my first observation, the frontage had been altered. The Kungfu lettering was still in its protective wrap but, inside, the posters from the JJB era survived. Transformation Collage
